Touchdown in Ibiza

A week in Ibiza just wasn't enough! I already need to go back. We had such an amazing relaxed week filled with a lot of rosé and too much food, we left our big summer holiday until October, when the schools have gone back and we are feeling cold at home it's even better stepping off the plane to the heat! We will definitely be going back perhaps in the Spring this time. Here is a little round up post including a list of our favourite hotspots including beach-clubs, hotels & restaurants, and of course all the snapshots from the trip.

The Hotel.

When I picked this hotel it was all because of the bedroom. We chose the Premier room and it had a gorgeous big bath, open plan bathroom, balcony and huge bed... I don't ask for much. The hotel as a whole was absolutely fault-less. From the 4 pools, 2 of which are on the rooftop with the restaurant and bar, the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The interior is a nordic scandi vibe super minimal and chic.

Rosé And Chill.

When we go away we like to just chill, drink rosé and eat delish food, so Ibiza was a no brainer for us. One of our favourite beach clubs for the day was Beachouse, I came across it on Instagram and I am so glad I did, it was definitely the best day of the week for me. We arrived at about 11am, we were one of the first ones there, we could choose between sunbeds, a bed, sofa areas (free) or the restaurant, we chose one of the big beds as we knew we would be here for the whole day. The staff were so attentive when we arrived getting us water and drinks / food menus for the day. We also had lunch and it was so good, definitely recommend the restaurant for lunch, if you didn't want to sunbathe. We ended up staying until about 6pm just chilling on the bed drinking and eating a fruit platter, I cannot wait to go back here!

We also went to Nikki Beach which I will briefly mention as I feel it is so similar where ever you go, but we had such a nice day, a bit different to Beachouse as it's more of a modern, pool vibe. The restaurant is really good and I love the diversity of the menu we had Chicken Satay and a huge selection of sushi. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen my little rant about El Chiringuito - I won't go into too much depth but we basically didn't have a great time there at all and I don't think I would recommend it, I feel like the restaurant is really nice if you are in a group as theres a good atmosphere and the food does look really nice, but I also think there are so many other nice places!

We are such foodies so we always have a list of restaurants we want to go to, we actually ended up eating at the hotel quite a lot and getting room service (after long days of drinking lol) but the few places we went to were:

Nobu - Nikki Beach - Beachouse  - Gelato Ibiza

Still to vist...

Places that are still on my list that I want to go to next time are below in case you are taking a trip soon:

Izakaya - Cotton Beach Club - Villa Mercedes -  Finca La Plaza - Avocado Queen - Babylon Beach - Bambuddha - POM Thai Restaurant - Passion Cafe - The Skinny Kitchen - Bless Hotel
