Paris in March means bringing versatile pieces that will stand the test of sudden downpours, scorching sun moments and cold wintery nights. As the sole purpose of the trip is to shoot content I am taking a lot more outfits than a usual two day city break, looking at changing looks possibly 4/5 times a day.
All the pieces I have picked for this trip are all things that can be styled all year round and mix and matched with other pieces already in my wardrobe. They're all outfits planned for evening dinner, coffee dates and a trip to the museum. While I'm packing my suitcase this afternoon I thought I would share a few pieces that I am putting in!
Adding a belt to a blazer, shirt or a dress is one of my favourite ways to add a different look to something you already own. I absolutely love this blazer and the matching trousers, can't wait to show you this look on my Instagram These are some of the pieces I am taking with me.
I never go on any trip without bringing at least two blazers. I am taking quite a few different ones with me this time, some that have belts that are listed above and others that are just purely an oversized blazer. I actually get a lot of my blazers from my dads wardrobe (thanks dad) so I have listed some similar ones below.
I know it isn't totally spring yet, the forecast is pretty drab for my trip but a maxi dress is a great transitional piece that can be worn all year. Wanting to wear a dress in essential the middle of winter, I always opt for a long sleeve, preferably a shirt dress and a darker colour / print. The dress that I am taking with me is the dog tooth H&M number listed below, but here are some other favourites that can be taken from the beach to a picnic and even layered with a knit and worn in the rain.
The shoe wardrobe.
My issue with packing light is I always want a different pair of shoes for each outfit... I just can't help it! I end up bringing 2 pairs of heels, trainers, boots and sometimes my workout trainers even slide in (even though we all know they aren't being worn) Below are some of the bits I am taking in my suitcase.
